I'm Sunshine Giesler, lead designer here at sunshine & lew. I believe that each of us see the world through a different lens, and my lens is design. As I walk the dog each afternoon I examine my surroundings through this lens. As I work to settle in to my new home in Spokane, WA I use this lens to make the space function best for my family while also looking beautiful. I would love to work with you and share my vision of your space through this lens as well.
INTERIOR DESIGN IS IN MY HEART
I have a Masters Degree in Interior Design from Washington State University and much of my career has been spent in the classroom, teaching likeminded individuals how to hone their design lens. Admittedly teaching is also dear to my heart and surrounding oneself with people that get excited about the same sorts of things as you is an incredible experience. When I work with clients, often times I teach design principles as we go through the process together. This helps them to understand the 'why' behind our choices and prepares them to make these choices on their own in the future.

My professional focus these days is to work (mostly) remotely with clients using an E-Design process to help them curate a space that meets all of their design and functional needs within the budget they set. This requires a bit more work on the part of the client, in collecting the information that I need to move forward, but ultimately has been very successful in allowing the client to work at the pace they are comfortable with, within their financial parameters.
